The History of Upstate New York’s Massage Therapy School
In 1995, the Center for Natural Wellness was created to provide surrounding communities with quality alternatives to medical treatment through massage therapy, acupuncture, and natural medicine.
The Center for Natural Wellness recognized that there was a growing need for competent, caring professional massage therapists. So in 1998 the Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy (CNWSMT) was created to provide the high standards of education for students seeking a career in therapeutic massage and bodywork.
Serving a Growing Community of Massage Therapists
To better serve the needs of its student body, the Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy relocated to a new, 14,000 square foot facility in April 2003. This new location is more centrally located in the Capital Region of New York (Albany, NY), is convenient to major highways, and offers a wide variety of student amenities.
The Rest is Massage School History!
We now have graduated and trained licensed massage therapists in New York’s Capital Region, into the greater New York State, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and well beyond. In fact, we have therapists placed all over the United States!
