The Usui method of Reiki (pronounced RAY-key) is a natural and gentle method of healing.  When our vital life force energy (Ki or Chi) is blocked, discomfort or disease may be present.  The Reiki practitioner acts as a conduit for the Universal Life Force Energy (Reiki), which is then passed on to the recipient.  Reiki addresses body, mind and spirit and brings about a deep sense of relaxation.  It is in this relaxed and balanced state that healing can occur.  The history of Reiki will be discussed and basic hand positions for self-healing and the healing of others will be taught. An attunement is given which activates the flow of Reiki and each student will give and receive a Reiki session. Cost includes a manual and certificate.
