Shiatsu Elemental Intensive is a six-class series focusing on the five elements of Shiatsu. The sixth workshop (new class!) will include the study of Cupping and Moxa Techniques as well as a follow-up to the previous five workshops. Register for as many workshops as you'd like. Course Description:
This six-day Shiatsu series focuses on one element per class day and builds to complete an advanced exploration of Five Element Shiatsu. Each element will be explored from a physical, mental and spiritual perspective integrating theory and practice. Each class day will include assessment techniques, bodywork demonstrations and student practice utilizing stretches & specific tsubos that address the element. Exercises to support the elements will be practiced and we will discuss lifestyle and dietary considerations for balancing the elements.

Instructor Bio:
Dagny T. Duhamel, BA, LMT is a certified Shiatsu practitioner. She is a graduate of the Desert Institute of Healing Arts in Tucson, Arizona as well as CNWSMT. She has practiced Shiatsu since 1997 and has been a Shiatsu instructor since 2000. She is passionate about her work and continues to study Chinese Medicine.
Mary Crinnin, LMT, graduated from the Finger Lakes School of Massage and has been teaching Shiatsu at CNWSMT since 1999. Mary is also a certified Watsu practitioner and has a private practice in Albany.
Mary & Dagny have been teaching together since 2000. |
