Course Description:
Thai Massage for the Table, taught the BodySaver™ way, allows you to offer a traditional Thai massage on your massage table with reduced strain and risk of injury and you DON’T need to climb on the table! Learn how to apply our principles of least effort and maximum results to these Yoga-like movements in a two day experiential course.
• Learn over 130 techniques for the supine position for immediate use in your practice
• Add a no-oil, fully clothed modality to your offerings
• Perform therapeutic range of motion work that’s great for athletes and the elderly
• Learn to employ your built in Power Tools such as knuckles, fists, forearms, elbows, and knees to deliver a safe and
effective massage
• No previous Thai Massage experience necessary
Students Will Need to Bring:
• Table linen
• Bed Pillow
• Wear comfortable clothing (no jeans or belts—“yoga clothes” and wearing layers is recommended)
• No perfumes or colognes worn to class please
**Workbook Fee is $20, payable directly to the instructor on the first morning of the course.
Instructor Bio:
Patrick Lee Ingrassia, LMT, is a world-renowned massage therapist, teacher, and innovator, as well as the founder of the Nayada Institute of Massage. Patrick graduated from the Florida School of Massage, and went on to earn his Thai Massage Teacher Certification from the Institute of Thai Massage in Chiang Mai, Thailand, after studying extensively with Master Chongkol Setthakorn. He has been teaching massage in the United States, Canada, Costa Rica, and Mexico for over 15 years. Patrick invented the BodySaver Method, a unique modality that allows massage therapists to extend their careers and protect their bodies while delivering effective massage at any pressure.
