CNW graduates! Please join us for the annual alumni picnic. We will have a free 3CE credit class from 9am-12pm, followed by food, raffles & chair massage. This year we are celebrating the 25th Anniversary of CNWSMT! Description of the Continuing Education Class: This 3 CEU in-person course discusses the physical manifestations of grief and how therapeutic massage can support the process. The course examines the stages of grief and the emotional component and encourages therapeutic massage support within our scope of practice. Practitioners will have a deeper understanding of grief and how to incorporate massage into the client’s experience. Please bring a set of sheets and lubricant. Certificates of Completion will be passed out at the end of class. Also, we do have people with severe allergies in the building. Please do not bring in any peanuts or peanut products into the building. Instructor Bio: Erica Keays is a CNWSMT alum (PT 02), licensed massage therapist, and certified aromatherapist for nearly 20 years. She is an NCBTMB/NY and NAHA-approved continuing education provider and is an approved CE Provider with the Alliance for Massage Therapy Education. She is a member in good standing with the AMTA, ABMP and The New York State Society of Medical Massage Therapists. She resides in the Adirondack Mountains with her husband, son and two dogs.
