Or you can go directly to: https://www.bloommountainaromatics.com/product-page/massage-the-grief-experience If you attended CNW's 2024 Alumni Picnic CE Class, regarding the heart...this 8 CE course is a continuation. $199 Early Bird rate/ $215 after Feb 10th Massage & The Grief Experience is a unique massage therapy continuing education course discussing the physical and emotional ramifications of grief, and how massage therapy can support the process. The class discusses the stages and kinds of grief, the physical manifestations of grief, an understanding of commonly prescribed medications for those struggling with grief-influenced anxiety and depression, how to work with grief counselors and respect our scope of practice, discussion of trauma-related grief and PTSD and an intro to hospice massage. Please bring a set of sheets and lubricant. Certificates of Completion will be passed out at the end of class. Also, we do have people with severe allergies in the building. Please do not bring in any peanuts or peanut products into the building. Instructor Bio: Erica Keays is a licensed massage therapist, certified aromatherapist, and massage therapy instructor. She is a 2004 graduate of the Center for Natural Wellness: School of Massage Therapy. In addition to her private practice, her teaching platform (Bloom Mountain Massage & Spa Education) offers comprehensive continuing education.
