7 PM - 8 PM Wednesday, October 22nd OPEN to ALL Location: 14 Computer Dr West, Albany, NY 12205 $28 Online or in-person Share a relaxing evening with someone or give YOURSELF the gift of self-care. Feel free to sit on one of our chairs, massage table, shiatsu mat on the floor, pillows or bring a blanket (recommended for warmth because it may get cold). Sound Bath starts promptly at 7pm and will last an hour. Please register to let us know you plan on attending by clicking the "Book Now" button. If you want to come early, there will be light charcuterie-type refreshments (ie, cheese, crackers, fruit, chips/salsa, etc) available in the student lounge/kitchen starting at 6pm. (www.resonanceandrelease.com) Biography: Jessica of Resonance and Release is a soon to be Occupational Therapist with several certifications in holistic health, executive functioning, and more. She is a former bodybuilder and powerlifter who began delving deeper into yoga to find her sense of Self, spirituality, and help quiet "Monkey Mind." The unions of practicing yoga, breathwork, and sound healing, which include the peaceful sounds of nature on tranquil trail explorations in combination with strength training, are aiding her in overcoming burnout from being a caretaker for over two decades and counting. Watching loved ones go through an endless cycle of ailments from chronic stress is a powerful reminder that we must break the cycle to attain longevity. "In a society where being busy is equated with being successful, which often means sacrificing sleep and our mental health, it is easy to forget about prioritizing R & R, leaving us feeling ungrounded.
